if you think you've blown God's plan for your life, rest in this: you are not that powerful.

sometimes i over analyze my decisions to the point where i can make myself sick. i get stuck thinking things such as "did i mess up God's plan for me?" "was this the right choice?" and "what if i ruined everything now?". these types of questions can keep me up at night and hold me back from truly living and experiencing each day of my life. if you have ever felt the same way, i am glad you are here.

here lately i have had to make some pretty major decisions on topics like college, jobs, friends, etc. i always pray before hand asking God to show me which way His plan is guiding me and which is the right choice, and i normally feel pretty good when making a decision. but afterwards i start questioning everything. there have been times when i literally thought that i ruined my whole life and came off track of God's plan. it took me seventeen years, but i finally realized that this is God's plan. me sitting here writing this blog post right now is God's plan.

He knows everything. Job 28:24 for He looks to the ends of the earth and sees everything under the heavens. He knows what has happened, what is happening, and what will happen. wow. just let that sink in. nothing, and i mean nothing, is a surprise to God. i used to live in fear that a wrong choice would make God disappointed in me, but i can now live in joy knowing that my wrong choices are all apart of his plan. (i am not saying to make wrong choices thinking "oh well, God already knows i am going to do this anyway" i am saying that when you do mess up, there's no point in trying to hide it from God because he already knows.) He is aware of every mistake you have ever made and even the mistakes you haven't made yet. Psalm 139:4 even before a word is on my tongue, Lord, you know it altogether.

nothing in the whole world can mess up God's plan. every fear you have, every choice you have made, every mistake that you regret, is a part of His wonderful and intricate plan. your life, right now in this very moment, is His plan. nothing can stop your destiny. Romans 8:31 what then shall we say to these things? if God is for us, who can be against us? there is absolutely nothing that you can do to mess up His plan and His will. so the next time you think that you have messed up God's plan for your life just remember: you are not that powerful. trust in the process. trust in the One who always trusts in you. i promise you, God's plan for you is much greater than you could ever imagine.
