3. next i apply eye shadow and eye liner (but i use black eye shadow for my eye liner).
4. then i apply mascara. (any mascara works just as good as the next one.) recently i have been using superhero by the brand it, which i ordered from sephora.
5. for highlight i use treStique's mini highlight stick, which i also ordered from sephora.
5. i normally don't fill my eyebrows in because they are dark and somewhat full just by themselves, but i want to start filling them in. currently i don't have a product that i like, but when i get one i'll post something about it (-:
that is really all i do for my make up, plus i know i'm not a professional so if i do something wrong please don't yell at me hahaha.
- what are some of the stores you shop for clothes? i shop at american eagle for my jeans, but for other clothes i shop at tj maxx, kohl's, the thrift store, plato's closet, aeropostale, sweetwater bay boutique, and other boutiques.
- what is your daily hair care routine? for shampoo and conditioner i use pantene's truly natural hair. i recently ordered christophe robin's cleansing purifying scrub with sea salt from sephora and if you have oily hair i highly recommended that product. i use it in place of my shampoo and it makes my hair very light and less oily. after i shower, i let my hair air dry naturally.
- what is your daily skin care routine? for face wash i use a three step cleanser from the company Acne Free. i apply the first step when i am in the shower, and the other two after my shower or before i go to bed.

- why did you decide to start a blog? i had been praying for months about whether or not i should start a blog, and then i had thought to myself, "you have so much knowledge that could truly help and inspire others: why would you keep that knowledge to yourself?" so, to answer your question. i started my blog because i have the hope that, even if only one or two people read my blog, they would leave my website with a smile on their face and an idea of who Jesus really is.
- how do you stay inspired to keep writing blog posts? i stay inspired through the people and ideas around me. my friends are very encouraging and always help me come up with blog post ideas. i also stay inspired through church sermons i hear, books that i read, and even my own personal life experiences.

- when did you become a Christian? i have gone to church for mostly my whole life, but i started going to a new church my freshman year of high school and i was later baptized on April 3, 2016. so that is when i technically became a Christian and was adopted into the family of Christ and the family of Crossroads Christian Church.
- what is your view on baptism? i believe that baptism is a very important step in a believer's walk with God. 1 Corinthians 12:13 says "for in one spirit we were all baptized into one body, and we were all made to drink of one spirit." Matthew 28:19 says "go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Son and of the Holy Spirit." Jesus's last command to us was to go and make disciples, baptizing them in His name. i firmly believe that baptism is so important, not only us, but to God himself.
- how did you start a relationship with Christ? when i was younger i went to church with my family, and my grandma would have bible lessons with us every sunday. then when i was in middle school, my family stopped going for no particular reason. that is when i realized my relationship with Christ was my own personal relationship, not something my parents should be in the center of. i read my bible often, but i knew it wasn't enough for me. i craved church services and a church family to call my own. then during my freshman year of high school i started going back to church. i attend church camps, sunday school, and youth group to learn about and grow in Christ. (i am planning on writing a testimony blog in the near future so that is all i will write for now <3)
- what are some of your favorite worship songs? my favorites right now are:
So Will I by Hillsong United,
Do It Again by Elevation Worship,
Give Me Faith by Elevation Worship,
Gracefully Broken by Matt Redman,
and any Aaron Pelsue Band song. 10/10 recommend.
- how do you put your faith in God even when things go wrong in life? for me personally, i have learned that anything i am going through is something God has already walked through for me. He is overlooking my life every second that i am breathing (and He will be overlooking it even when i stop breathing). Deuteronomy 31:8 says "it is the Lord who goes before you. He will be with you, He will not leave or forsake you. do not fear." this verse gives me so much assurance that God is going before me and making sure that what i am about to endure is not more than i can handle. because of this, i will put all of my faith into Him in the good times and the bad times no matter how hard it may seem. i hope this helps you in putting your faith into him <3
- what is your advice on growing a personal relationship with Jesus? scripture and prayer. i know that most teenagers do not want to spend their time reading their bible, but honestly, that book has the answers for everything. simply reading can make you feel so much closer to Jesus. and prayer. your prayers do not have to be long and/or well thought out. He wants to hear about you and your requests and your worries. His sole purpose is that we might go to him with our concerns and just talk with him. i promise you, He is listening. and He will talk right back to you as long as you are listening to him. you can pray in your car while driving, in the shower, in your room, at school. there are no guidelines for your prayers. just pray to him, because he wants to hear from you.
- what are your favorite scriptures? my favorites are:
Isaiah 41:10 "fear not, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you, I will help you, I will uphold you with my righteous hand."
Matthew 5:16 "in the same way, let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven."
and Psalm 56:9 "then my enemies will turn back in the day when i call. this i know, that God is for me."

- what is your greatest tip for someone going into high school? my greatest tips are to try your hardest in class to get good grades, because they really do matter. and just be kind to everyone. being kind will get you much further than any rude comment or dirty look ever will.
- what has been the hardest part of high school? the hardest part for me is making really good friends who i can hang out with inside and outside of school. since i am a Christian, a lot of people don't want to hang out with me because they think i won't want to have fun or do anything "bad". which is true, kind of. i don't desire to drink or smoke or anything like that, and i don't want to hang out with people who consider those things to be their idea of fun. i am constantly praying for a group of friends who are centered around Christ, and i know he will give me those friends in His timing.
- what is your favorite class in school? english. i love to read and write, which is part of the reason i started a blog.
- what do you want to do after high school? i am planning to attend Ashland University to study digital media journalism and either double major or minor in spanish. also i want to travel and take pictures. so yeah, wherever God takes me is where i'll be. (but, go eagles!!!)
- what helps you the most when studying? i normally write down the material i am studying, and then say it all out loud or have someone quiz me over the material (usually that someone is my mom). also, if you get easily distracted then put your phone away or else you won't get much studying done.
- how do you deal with toxic friends in your friend group? luckily, i don't really have any toxic friends in my friend group right now. when i used to, i prayed about what to do and talked to people, like my other friends, my youth pastor, and my mom. leaving a toxic friend behind isn't a bad thing to do. sometimes, you just outgrow people. God is going to take you places that certain people just aren't meant to go, and that is perfectly okay. also, don't feel like it is your responsibility to fix them, especially if they don't want help. you can pray for them, guide them in the right direction, and talk to them about their issues but you cannot help a person who doesn't want your help.

- what are some of your favorite places to eat? my favorites places are iHOP (or any pancake house), Applebee's, Panera Bread, Penn Station, and any cafe / bakery.
- what is your favorite type of coffee? dark roast, for sure. but i can't drink it black, so i have to have a little bit of cream in it.
- how are you so effortlessly happy all of the time? obviously i am human, so i am not happy 24/7, but of course i'm not going to post pictures on social media of me crying or upset. i am not happy all of the time; however, i am always joyful because the joy of the Lord brings me joy. there are too many things to be joyful about and i don't want to waste a second being not joyful or ungrateful, because i am truly blessed with the life the Lord has given me.
- how do you deal with heart break? there are many types of heart break: heart break because of a boyfriend/girlfriend, heart break because a loved one passed away, heart break because things didn't go as you had planned, etc. the best way to deal with it, for me, is to sit in silence and just think: not react, but think. it is so important to think things through. and pray. you are not capable to handle heart break on your own, so take it all to Jesus, leave it at the cross, and walk away. you will over come this heart break and you will be stronger than you ever have been because of this situation. when your heart is broken, there is more room for the light to shine through.
